Lil Monsters House Safe Home for Rescued Animals

Hello, my name is Thanos and I live in Evia, Greece.

I take care of 15 rescued dogs, 11 cats, and 9 ducks that live in my home and land.

Out of the 11 cats, 4 live exclusively inside my house and are fully indoor cats. The remaining 7 cats live freely in the property and usually return during the day and at night for food and care.

The dogs live permanently in the fenced property and sleep safely inside the house at night. The ducks also live permanently within the land in their own protected area.

I manage all daily care completely on my own — feeding, cleaning, medical care, veterinary visits, and full responsibility for all animals.

I do receive help from friends and family, but only for physical work such as carrying materials, cleaning debris, and construction tasks. All animal care, feeding, and veterinary responsibilities are done exclusively by me.

Each month, I spend over 500€ on food, medications, flea and tick treatments, vitamins, and veterinary care. Despite the financial and physical difficulty, I continue because these animals fully depend on me and deserve a safe and dignified life.

I have already personally invested over 2,500€ into fencing and basic infrastructure, and I continue to improve the space as much as possible.

Right now, I am trying to complete and improve the house and the land so it can become a proper safe environment for all the animals. The work needed includes:

• Windows
• Flooring and plastering
• Electrical installations
• Fencing and secure enclosures
• Concrete and outdoor safety areas

Additionally, basic living and hygiene facilities are needed in the house, including a hot water system (boiler), shower, toilet system, and water supply fixtures (taps). These are essential for maintaining hygiene while caring for the animals and working on the property.

My goal is to create a stable and safe long-term home for the animals I already care for. In the future, the space may also support training or help more animals, but right now my full focus is on the ones I already have.
